Purpose
Our community is open to anyone with an interest in hypnosis, health and wellness. As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe and welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, ethnicity, or religion.

The code of conduct outlines our expectations for participant behavior.  Organizers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants and invite all volunteers, speakers, attendees, media, exhibitors, and other participants to help us actualize a safe and enjoyable conference experience for everyone.

All determinations of appropriate or inappropriate behavior are at the sole discretion of the event organizer and its representatives. The decision(s) of the representative's onsite will be final.

Expected Behavior

  • Participants are expected to demonstrate good manners by being considerate, respectful, and courteous to those in attendance.
  • Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants.
  • Kindly refrain from demeaning, discriminatory, or harassing behavior and speech.
  • Alert conference organizers if you notice a potentially dangerous situation or someone in distress.

Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behaviors include: intimidating, harassing, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory or demeaning conduct by any attendees; wearing clothing that is not suitable for a professional work environment, that is provocative, or otherwise distasteful.

Harassment includes:

  • Offensive verbal comments related to gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, or disability;
  • Inappropriate use of nudity, lewd and/or sexual images in public locations;

  • Inappropriate physical contact and unwelcome sexual advances.
  • Physical, written, verbal or other abuse, intimidation, threats, annoyance, harassment, stalking, pushing, shoving or use of any physical force whatsoever against any person, which in any way creates a disturbance that is disruptive or dangerous, or creates anxiety or apprehension in an individual, as determined by the organizer and its conference production team, in their sole discretion.
  • Boisterous, lewd or offensive behavior or content that contains profanity, obscene gestures, or racial, religious, gender, or ethnic slurs.
  • Possession of any item that can be used as a weapon, which may cause danger to others if used inappropriately.
  • Possessing any open can, bottle or other receptacle containing any alcoholic beverages, except in areas specifically designated for the consumption of alcohol.

  • Failure to obey any rules or regulations of the Establishment.

Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated - whether by organizers, their assigned, attendees, media, speakers, volunteers, or exhibitors.

Anyone who is asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.

If a participant engages in unacceptable behavior, the conference organizers may take whatever action they deem appropriate, which may include expulsion from the conference without warning or refund.

Reporting Unacceptable Behavior
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being treated poorly, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference event staff immediately. We are committed to help those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event. Staff can be found in the Registration area onsite and identified by their respective badges. We value your attendance.

Scope
We expect all conference participants (volunteers, speakers, attendees, exhibitors and other guests) to abide by this code of conduct at all conference-related venues and social events.

 The above policies may be revised at any time by the conference organizer and are non-negotiable. This Code of Conduct is without prejudice to the organizer and its affiliate’s rights, all of which are expressly reserved.
